Salt baths

The salt-bath furnaces are used for any kind of heat treatment in molten salts (heating for quenching, annealing, normalizing, tempering, etc.). The salt-bath furnaces ensure high-speed and more uniform heating-up of workpieces and substantially restrain oxidation.
Design features:
  • Perfect thermal insulating properties of lining materials allow a decrease in the lining thickness and overall dimensions of the bath accordingly
  • Advanced microprocessor-based control system
  • Highly resistant alumina crucibles are used for high-temperature baths.
  • Low-density lining materials significantly cut costs and provide fast heating of the bath due to a lower heat accumulation in the lining
  • Compliance with all relevant requirements and safety standards
  • Emergency bottom tapping in case of a crucible failure
  • Protective shield
  • Automatic thermocouple-breaking shutdown
