Chamber furnaces for firing ceramics and porcelain

The PK series electric chamber furnaces are intended for firing ceramics and porcelain as well as any kind of heat treatment in air atmosphere.

        The kiln has a working chamber arranged in a welded frame of metal sections and an advanced highly effective multilayer thermal insulation comprising refractory bricks and fibrous materials. The lining provides high cost efficiency and rapid heating-up of the kiln due to cutting the total amount of heat accumulated by the lining. Perfect heat insulating properties of the material used ensure a decrease in lining thickness and, as a result, overall dimensions of the kiln.        

The kiln has a pivot door with a safety limit switch. The switch is located on the face panel of the kiln and ensures shutdown of the heaters when the door is open.
Coiled heating elements are made of Superfechral alloy. Optimal arrangement of heating elements gives better temperature distribution uniformity in the charge and excludes deformation of workpieces during heating.
If required by the customer, the kiln can be mounted on the additional welded frame to increase the floor clearance height.
A microprocessor-based temperature regulator is used in the temperature profile control and adjustment system. The regulator ensures temperature change according to one of the preset program. Any program can include intervals of linear temperature rise or lowering at a required rate as well as of soaking at the required temperature. The device can be optionally equipped with a nonvolatile backup memory and a telecommunication interface.

Distinctive features of the PK series kilns are as follows:
  • Advanced technologies and materials allow an increase in the service life of the kiln including heating elements and insulating materials.
  • High temperature distribution uniformity in the whole volume of the working chamber.
  • Possibility to adjust the rate of smooth heating and cooling workpieces being treated by means of a simple and operationally reliable programmer with a user-friendly interface
