The drying chambers are intended for drying and baking of electrodes.The chamber has a welded frame of steel sections and a working chamber (muffle) made of steel sheets. | The drying chamber is lined with advanced high-quality thermal insulating materials based on basalt wool. Tubular electric heaters (TEHs) are used to heat various media by means of convection, heat transfer and irradiation (while converting the electric energy into the heat) and accomplished as curved tubes of prerequisite dimensions having threaded nipples to be connected to the energy source.
A pipe to remove moisture evolving during heating is mounted in the backwall.The drying chamber is equipped with a fan in the system of forced atmosphere circulation which generates air flow in the working zone and ensures temperature distribution homogeneity in the whole volume of the working chamber. The electric oven has a pivot door with a safety limit switch. The switch is located on the face panel of the furnace and ensures shutdown of the heaters when the door is open. Temperature control and adjustment in the oven are carried out by an electronic control unit with a digital temperature indicator.
