These furnaces are predestinated to heat workpieces of aluminum and its alloys for quenching, annealing, tempering and other kinds of heat treatment in the air atmosphere at the temperature up to 700 °C. The electric furnace has a welded frame made of metal sections. The lining is made of the advanced light fire-proof heat-insulating materials. | | | | NKO 7.7.10/7 | NKO 8.10.8/7 |
Advantages of this lining: - Perfect thermal insulation properties of the material allow a decrease in the lining thickness and the outline dimensions of the furnace
- Low density of the material provides highly effective performance, cuts power consumption and ensures rapid heating-up of the furnace due to the decrease in total heat quantity accumulated by the lining
- Equipment can withstand shocks, vibration and alternating loads.

| Coiled heaters made of Superfechral alloy are mounted in the furnaces against the sidewalls and hearth to provide more uniform heating-through as the under surface of a workpiece as distinct from the others is not involved in the convective heat exchange. In the sidewalls, heaters are separated from the working chamber by shields made of sheet stainless steel.
A thermocouple mounted in an opening in the working chamber of the furnace is used as a temperature sensor. The furnaces with the length of the working chamber exceeding 1,5 meter have several independent heating zones which allow an increase in the temperature distribution homogeneity in the furnace volume.
Temperature control and adjustment are carried out by a microprocessor-based control unit to be arranged in an individual cabinet together with the power module. Electric furnaces are equipped with fans of the forced gas circulation system ensuring movement of heated air through the charge in the working chamber and a uniform temperature distribution in the whole volume of the working chamber. The fans are mounted on the furnace roof.
