NPCS CGN control system (fully automated nitriding process control system)
The control system consists of the following elements:
1. Module for nitriding process and temperature control, modeling diffusion process and data displaying.
2. Gas panel with consumption controllers and pressure sensors.
3. Electric cabinet (power elements, components of automated devices, thyristors)
Some visual representations are given in Figures 1-3.
CGN semi-automated control system
The system consists of Thermodat-14 microprocessor-based temperature controller, flowmeter-type gas consumption controllers and a PLC-based nitrogen potential indicator.
System of wasted gas aftertreatment:
The furnace is equipped with Naitram catalytic afterburner of the wasted ammonia atmosphere.
The operational principle of the afterburner is based on the catalytic afterburning gaseous ammonia-bearing wastes from the furnaces for the chemical heat-treatment on the honeycomb catalysts.
Basic features:
Aftertreatment device is mounted onto the conventional gas-exit piping of the nitriding furnaces.
It ensures stable burning ammonia-bearing gases at the rates 100 to 1000 liters per hour.
It has a sensor for flame availability detection and an electrosparking device used for the initial firing.
